MarNae Taylor (Susan) holds her B.F.A in Theatre from Utah State University. She complemented this achievement with a minor in Music. She has taught theater for over twenty years, teaching in Utah, Louisiana, and Korea, including nine years at Georgiana Bruce Kirby, where she has directed twenty-three plays and musicals, such as Into The Woods, Aida, Working, Spitfire Grill, Rumors, The Dining Room, Moon Over Buffalo, and Twelve Angry Jurors. MarNae has also directed and performed in shows in Army community theatre in Louisiana where she won several national competitions for Best Actress. Her favorite roles are: Ruth(High Spirits), 1st Actress(The Dining Room), Mrs. Peacock(Clue), Suzette(Don’t Dress For Dinner), and Day by day(Godspell), Locally MarNae has performed in SVPA’s Oliver as Nancy, and in Honk as Maureen. Additionally, she played as Lil’ Bit in Actors Theatre’s How I Learned to Drive, Marie in Incorruptible, and Izzy in Rabbit Hole. She has been involved in the 8 tens @ Eight productions at Actors theatre for the last four years acting and directing. This is her first production with Jewel theatre and she is excited to be part of a wonderful show, cast and production company.
