Hector S. Quintana (Harry) is excited to be back at Jewel Theatre Company having last been seen in Peggy the Musical. He has had the honor of sharing the stage with such legends as Barbara Cooke, Amanda McBroom and Patti LaBelle. Hector was featured as the Voice of Audrey II in Broadway by the Bay‘s Little Shop of Horrors. He was featured as “The Bop Soloist” in Christmas Dreamland with American Musical Theatre of San Jose. Silk Stockings a Broadway Workshop starring Melba Moore and directed by Tony Stevens. He spent three years with San Francisco’s landmark show Beach Blanket Babylon, as King Louis, Elvis Presley and A Christmas Tree! Regional Credits: The Wizard of Oz (AMTSJ), Ain’t Misbehavin, Skimbleshanks in CATS, Zoser in AIDA. Favorite roles: The Wolfe/Cinderella’s Prince in Into the Woods, Bernardo in West Side Story and Sir Evelyn in Anything Goes. Other theatre credits include: Sweeney Todd, Sophisticated Ladies, A Little Night Music and Smokey Joe’s Café. Hector also spent 4 years performing and touring with his Latin-Soul/Latin-Funk band SONGO. As an accomplished songwriter, he collaborated to produce Havana Soul a gritty, earthy Afro-Cuban music CD, which is available for purchase at iTunes and at www.songo.com.
